Sometimes identity and sexuality are not fully understood right away. Unfortunately, the public and often even the community members themselves tend not to be sympathetic to this, and sometimes community members face confusion or fear of “coming out of the closet” again. (For example, when a transgender man realizes over time that he is trans and hetero, not cis and lesbian. Or when a person realizes from the beginning that they like people of their gender, and only then that they also like people of the opposite sex, and that they are bisexual/pansexual, not homosexual).
In this discussion, community members will talk about their experiences with sexual fluidity, as well as read anonymously submitted stories of people’s experiences about sexual and gender fluidity.
Let’s talk about why it is normal to understand new things about yourself, how to react to misunderstandings from others, and how to create an environment that is inclusive to fluidity.
