Conference “Think Diversity”

As one of the highlights of Baltic Pride 2018 Riga will host the very first business conference focusing on Diversity issues. Conference will showcase such issues as importance of diversity in the workforce, implementation of diversity and inclusion policies as well as products development and marketing for various diversity groups.

THINK DIVERSITY – Baltic Diversity Business Forum will gather opinion leaders, stakeholders and international speakers to discuss the best practices to ensure workplace equality and innovative methods working with various communities.

Latvia has some policies in place to protect employees from discrimination at workplace, at the same time Latvia holds the last place in the European Union in protection of LGBT persons and statistics on gender equality are disturbing regardless of positive statements from political elite.

THINK DIVERSITY – Baltic Diversity Business Forum will focus on gender equality, LGBT, disability and ethnic issues (incl. migration and refugees). Forum will be developed to ensure equal proportion of discussed topics.

THINK DIVERSITY – Baltic Diversity Business Forum will be a platform to learn about best practices that drive workplace equality, innovation, customer loyalty and cross sectoral co-operation.
During THINK DIVERSITY – Baltic Diversity Business Forum special opening ceremony and presentation of the Latvian Diversity Charter and Latvian Equality Index will take place.

THINK DIVERSITY – Baltic Diversity Business Forum will focus on diverse industries and areas such as finance, insurance, marketing, IT, human resources and others.

THINK DIVERSITY – Baltic Diversity Business Forum is open only to the business, chambers of commerce and international organizations.
