Stuart Milk is a global LGBT human rights activist and political speaker from the United States. The nephew of civil rights leader Harvey Milk, he is the co-founder of the Harvey Milk Foundation. He has engaged in domestic and international activism, including work with LGBT movements in Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He is also a featured writer and columnist for Huffington Post, focusing on global human rights.

In his lecture “Global human rights” Stuart Milk will offer his unique international perspective on current human rights and LGBTI rights trends across the globe. Is the Western world at a crossroads to full equality and respect for human rights for all, or are we at risk of losing what has been gained in the last 50 years?
