Freedom conference “Freedom of Speech and Assembly: Challenges of Today”

June 8, 2018 at 09:45 - 16:00

The international conference “Freedom of Speech and Assembly: Challenges of Today” is a successful continuation of the conference organized during the EuroPride 2015.

This year the conference aims to assemble 200 activists, international experts, representatives from international organizations, diplomats, policy makers and creative industries to discuss the challenges the modern world is facing and how joint cooperation can facilitate the democratic changes in the countries where human rights violations is a reality.

Conference will have 3 main points of focus addressed in separate sections – freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, creative industries and human rights – and is indented to be more practical and less theoretical ensuring that the stories covered in the conference are shareable and can be used in the broader human rights work.

This is one of the first conferences where NGO activists, experts and creative industries are also invited to join to find common solutions on how to advance the human rights in the areas where freedom of speech and assembly is still a great struggle and where there is a great demand for democratic change and how business can assist in building a much safer world.

Application form available here

Conference is free of charge but only registered and approved participants will be admitted.
