“PRIDE: razborkas” brings together Latvia’s best comedians and raconteurs to finally get some clarity on which are the most notable personas and events for the LGBT+ community. We will take some time to laugh together about our friends, best friends, not-so-friendly friends and most importantly — ourselves. With the help of our main jokesters, we will share our happiness and sadness and, of course, lots of laughs in a free and non-judgmental atmosphere.
🎭 Razborka’s conductor — Jānis Skutelis, a 1/4 anthropologist. Interested in humans. Has trouble remembering not to drop his jaw when surprised. Then again, it might be even useful with these boiling temperatures.
Participants:
🎤 Džemma Sudraba, a comic and podcaster. She enjoys a good story and marginal life experiences.
🎤 Edgars Bāliņš, a professional fan of Eurovision and FC Manchester United. Comedian and rapper in his free time. More often than not, he is being falsely profiled as a journalist because he earns his bread and butter at DELFI. Repulsed by swimming and flying.
🎤 Rūdolfs Kugrēns, a comedian. Loves seeing people happy and hates categorial thinkers, who will shoot themselves in the foot a billion times, but still won’t change their opinions.
🎤 Aiva Birbele, befriends a suspicious number of people from different orientations. It seems like wisdom and maturity has come with age. Writes jokes, plays and scripts in her free time.
🎤 Toms Lūsis, the most passionate protector of Latvian, conservative and church values. Opinion leader at TVNET and the creative spirit of Cehs.lv. Doesn’t enjoy public performance and idiots.
🎤 Marta Elīna Martinsone, film and theatre director, as well as a publicist and country music enthusiast. Performs at “Women’s Standup” from time to time and is a creator of film creations. Likes Orson Welles, K-pop and The Lamprey festival.
